$1,000 Cash Giveaway - Official Rules
Entries close Monday, August 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time. The winner is drawn Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

1. Sponsor

2. Entry period
The $1,000 Cash Giveaway (the "Giveaway") begins August 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM Mountain Time and ends August 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time. Posts made outside this window will not be counted.
3. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Keelan Scott LLC and their immediate family members are not eligible.
4. No purchase necessary
No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Entry posts must feature the Keelan Scott Adjustable Standing Desk. You do not need to own one. You may use any Adjustable Standing Desk photo from keelanscott.co in your post.
5. How to enter
Each qualifying public post earns you one entry ticket. You may earn a maximum of three tickets, one per method:
- Instagram post. Post a photo featuring a Keelan Scott Adjustable Standing Desk and tag @keelanscottco using Instagram's "Tag people" feature on the photo itself. Include your referral link in the caption.
- Instagram story. Post a story featuring the desk, type @keelanscottco and select us from the dropdown so the mention is tappable, and add your referral link using the link sticker.
- Facebook post. Post a photo featuring the desk and publicly tag the Keelan Scott page. Include your referral link in the post.
Your account must be public. Private accounts cannot be verified and those posts will not count as entries. Entries are collected automatically from public tags and mentions; there is no form to submit. Your referral link is how we match a post to you, so entries without it may not be creditable.
6. Drawing and notification
One winner will be selected at random from all verified entries on September 2, 2026. The winner will be notified by direct message on the platform they entered from and by email at the address associated with their Keelan Scott account. The winner must respond within seven (7) days of first notification. If the winner does not respond within that period, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner will be drawn at random.
7. Prize
One (1) prize of $1,000 USD in cash. The prize will be paid by PayPal or Venmo, at the winner's choice, within fourteen (14) days of Keelan Scott LLC receiving a completed IRS Form W-9 from the winner. No substitutions and the prize is non-transferable. Total approximate retail value: $1,000.
8. Taxes
Prizes are treated as taxable income. Because this prize exceeds $600, Keelan Scott LLC is required to report it to the IRS. The winner must provide a completed Form W-9 before the prize is paid, and will receive a Form 1099-MISC for the 2026 tax year. The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the prize. This is standard for any prize of this size.
9. Verification and disqualification
All entries are subject to verification. Keelan Scott LLC may disqualify any entry that is fraudulent, uses a fake or duplicate account, is created by automated means, or does not comply with these rules or with the terms of the platform it was posted on.
10. Release
This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, you release Instagram, Facebook, and Meta from any and all liability related to this Giveaway. You also agree that Keelan Scott LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your participation or from acceptance or use of the prize.
11. Privacy
Information collected from entrants is used only to administer this Giveaway and is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. We will not sell your information.
12. Announcement and consent
By entering, you consent to Keelan Scott LLC announcing the winner's first name and last initial in our email campaigns, on our social media accounts, and on this page after the prize is awarded. We will not publish your full name, address, or contact information.
You also grant Keelan Scott LLC permission to reshare your entry post, including the photo and your social media handle, in our marketing for up to twelve (12) months. If you would prefer we not reshare your post, email info@keelanscott.co and we will remove it. This does not affect your entry.
