$1,000 Cash Giveaway - Official Rules

Entries close Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time. The winner is drawn on or before Friday, November 6, 2026, once every entry is verified.

1. Sponsor

2. Entry period

The $1,000 Cash Giveaway (the "Giveaway") begins October 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM Mountain Time and ends October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time. Posts made outside this window will not be counted.

3. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Keelan Scott LLC and their immediate family members are not eligible.

4. Who can enter

The Giveaway is open to Keelan Scott affiliates. You become an affiliate automatically when you make a purchase at keelanscott.co, or for free by emailing info@keelanscott.co to join. No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase will not improve your chances of winning. You do not need to own a Keelan Scott piece to enter.

5. How to enter

Make one public Facebook post and you're entered. There is one entry per person; additional posts do not earn additional entries.

Your post must tag the Keelan Scott page (@keelanscottco). The post must be public and stay public through October 31, 2026. Private posts cannot be verified and will not count.

Entries are collected automatically from public Facebook posts that tag our page; there is no form to submit. We match each post to an affiliate account by the poster's Facebook name. If we can't match your post, we'll reach out. Instagram posts and stories are not entries in this Giveaway.

6. Drawing and notification

One winner will be selected at random from all verified entries on or before November 6, 2026. The winner will be notified by direct message on Facebook and by email at the address associated with their Keelan Scott account. The winner must respond within seven (7) days of first notification. If the winner does not respond within that period, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner will be drawn at random.

7. Prize

One (1) prize of $1,000 USD in cash. The prize will be paid by PayPal or Venmo, at the winner's choice, within fourteen (14) days of Keelan Scott LLC receiving a completed IRS Form W-9 from the winner. No substitutions and the prize is non-transferable. Total approximate retail value: $1,000.

8. Taxes

Prizes are treated as taxable income. Because this prize exceeds $600, Keelan Scott LLC is required to report it to the IRS. The winner must provide a completed Form W-9 before the prize is paid, and will receive a Form 1099-MISC for the 2026 tax year. The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the prize. This is standard for any prize of this size.

9. Verification and disqualification

All entries are subject to verification. Keelan Scott LLC may disqualify any entry that is fraudulent, uses a fake or duplicate account, is created by automated means, or does not comply with these rules or with the terms of the platform it was posted on.

10. Release

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, you release Instagram, Facebook, and Meta from any and all liability related to this Giveaway. You also agree that Keelan Scott LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your participation or from acceptance or use of the prize.

11. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is used only to administer this Giveaway and is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. We will not sell your information.

12. Announcement and consent

By entering, you consent to Keelan Scott LLC announcing the winner's first name and last initial in our email campaigns, on our social media accounts, and on this page after the prize is awarded. We will not publish your full name, address, or contact information.

You also grant Keelan Scott LLC permission to reshare your entry post, including the photo and your social media handle, in our marketing for up to twelve (12) months. If you would prefer we not reshare your post, email info@keelanscott.co and we will remove it. This does not affect your entry.
