The Shot
Taken over Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island - one of the most geologically active landscapes on earth. A drone was flown out over an active lava flow, steam vents rising off the rock, molten lava stretching across the terrain below. From 250 feet up, the scale plays tricks on you: what looks like solid ground is a live volcanic field, with a person somewhere down there the size of an ant.
It's raw, alive, and singular - unlike anything you'll hang from a catalog.
